subfactions
Definition of Subfactions:
Subfactions are temporary minor factions that operate under the
umbrella of a parent faction, designed to serve specific roles
or thematic purposes within the larger narrative.
Creation and Dissolution of Sub factions:
Players can propose new sub factions through a role-playing (RP)
request, which must be approved based on narrative consistency,
player interest, and strategic necessity. Proposals must outline the
sub faction's purpose, intended role, proposed leader, and conditions
or duration for its existence.
Sub factions can be dissolved by the parent faction based on several
criteria such as achievement of their objectives, narrative developments,
or lack of player engagement.
Membership and Leadership:
Subfactions are capped at 10 members, including a leadership trio at
the top. Players can only hold a leadership position (Top 3) in one faction
or sub faction at any time.
Control and Oversight:
Each sub faction operates under the control and oversight of its parent
major faction, which can intervene, modify, or dissolve the sub faction as
deemed necessary by the evolving game dynamics and storyline.
Major decisions, including leadership changes and strategic direction, must
be ratified by the parent faction’s leadership.
Role and Flexibility in the Game:
Sub factions allow players to delve into specialized missions and storylines,
enhancing the depth and variety of the gaming experience.
